This guide will help you get up and running with Tare Ticketing.
Whether you’re a dispatcher, driver, bookkeeper, or subcontractor, Tare is designed to make onboarding simple and straightforward.

If you’re not sure what type of account you should be using, review:

Basic Terms

Before continuing, here are a few simple terms you’ll see during onboarding:

  • Dispatcher β€” The person assigning work and managing operations.
  • RFO (Request For Operator) β€” A job request sent to a driver, operator, or subcontractor.
  • Job β€” The actual work assigned through an RFO.
  • Operator / Driver β€” The person receiving and completing the work.
  • Subcontractor β€” An independent operator or company that receives RFOs from other dispatchers.

These terms will appear throughout the onboarding flow.

Who Can Create an Account?

Different user types onboard differently depending on their role.

Can Create an Account Without an Invite

These roles can finish onboarding on their own:

  • Dispatchers
  • Owner-Operators (Subcontractors)

They can create a company, set up equipment, and start operating immediately.

Must Be Invited

These roles cannot finish onboarding unless they have a valid invite:

  • Drivers / Operators (Employees)
  • Bookkeepers (Read-Only)
  • Web-Only Users

These users can still enter their phone number and OTP,
but they cannot join a company unless an invite exists for them.

Directly visiting the Tare website without an RFO ID in the URL will result in a Not Found error.
