If either document is missing or expired, the equipment becomes non-compliant.

Weekly Compliance Notifications

To help prevent missed renewals, Tare sends a compliance report every:

  • Monday at 8:00 AM (local time)

This SMS lists any equipment that is out of compliance or expiring soon, giving dispatchers time to take action.

Assigning Equipment to Drivers

You can optionally assign a piece of equipment to an employee driver. This allows drivers to:

  • See the equipment they are responsible for
  • View its insurance and MVI dates in the app

Equipment does not require a driver to be assigned — assignment is optional.

Summary

Equipment in Tare helps you track MVI and insurance so your fleet stays compliant.
You can add units, upload MVI or insurance documents, assign equipment to drivers, and receive weekly reminders before anything expires.
