Tare on the Web

Tare on the Web allows users to accept RFOs, upload bills, and complete basic workflows without installing the mobile app. This is ideal for subcontractors and operators who only need to interact with incoming work requests, or for companies who want a lightweight onboarding option for their external partners.

Web access is intentionally limited and operates differently from the mobile app. The experience is streamlined for fast onboarding and quick RFO responses.

What You Can Do on the Web

The web interface supports a focused set of actions centered around RFOs (Request For Operators).

A Web User can:

  • Accept an RFO
  • Decline an RFO
  • Upload bills or supporting documents
  • View the details of the RFO that was sent to them

These actions are designed for subcontractors or operators who only need to respond to dispatch requests, not manage a full company profile.

What You Cannot Do on the Web

The web version is not a full Tare client and does not include the features available in the mobile app.

A Web User cannot:

  • View dispatches
  • Submit tickets (beyond uploading bills for an RFO)
  • Access equipment or compliance information
  • View company details
  • Manage employees
  • Create or manage dispatches
  • Navigate through a dashboard or menu

If you need full access to Tare’s features, you will need to download the mobile app.

Onboarding to Tare (Web)

Unlike the mobile app, the web version uses an invite-only onboarding process.
You must be invited by a dispatcher or company before you can sign in.

Once you have been invited, you can complete onboarding directly in your browser.

Web Onboarding Steps

1. Enter Your Phone Number

Start by entering the phone number that received the invite.
This ensures Tare ties you to the correct company and invite.

2. Enter the OTP Code

A one-time verification code will be sent by SMS.
Enter the OTP to continue.

3. Select Your Invite

After verifying your phone number, you will see a list of invites associated with your account.

There are two types of invites:

Employee Invite Flow

If you select an Employee invite:

  • You can adjust or correct your name
  • Once confirmed, you will be associated with the company as an employee
  • You will be redirected to the RFO page (if accessed through an RFO link)

Employee accounts on the web remain limited to RFO responses only.

Subcontractor Invite Flow

If you select a Subcontractor invite, the onboarding flow has additional steps:

You will be asked to:

  • Choose whether you are a Dispatcher or Operator
  • Edit or confirm your company name

This step ensures subcontractors are properly represented when responding to RFOs.

Once confirmed, you will be redirected to the RFO page.

Redirecting to the RFO Page

After onboarding, the system will redirect you to the RFO you were invited to view.

Important Behavior

If you access the web version without an RFO ID in the URL (for example, visiting the homepage directly):

➡️ You will see a Not Found error.

This is normal.
The web interface is intentionally designed to open only through RFO links.

Summary

Tare on the Web offers a fast, lightweight way for subcontractors and operators to interact with RFOs without downloading the mobile app. It is invite-only, RFO-driven, and purpose-built for users who only need to accept work and upload documents.

For full access to Tare’s features — dispatching, compliance, equipment management, ticket digitalization — the mobile app is required.
